What is Ozone Therapy?

There are several different types of Ozone therapy ranging from intravenous applications to the use of ozonated water and oils.
At EWC Mediwellness we use the HOCATT TM OZONE Sauna
HOCATT TM stands for “Hyperthermic Ozone and Carbonic Acid Transdermal Therapy” and the machine acts as a personal ozone steam sauna, in which patients sit with just their head exposed to the air, while their body receives the benefits of an infusion of ozone, carbon dioxide, steam, photon light and oxygen. The gentle rise in body core temperature and oxygen levels in the blood accelerates blood circulation. Through the process of elimination, toxins are expelled via the skin, thereby sparing the kidneys and liver of the detoxification process.
Additionally, it’s a great treatment that can be used to boost the immune system, lower inflammation levels in the body, inactivate viruses, bacteria, yeast, fungi and parasites, as well as assisting in natural healing. The HOCATT TM sessions are usually 25 – 30 minutes. Most protocols recommend 2-3 sessions per week initially. A couple of sessions per month are recommended for the healthies clients to boost their vitality.
